KILIMANJARO RONGAI ROUTE COST

The Rongai Route is one of the paths to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The cost of trekking this route can vary significantly depending on the tour operator, the level of service, and the number of days chosen for the trek. On average, the Rongai route cost can range from $2,198 to $2,500 per person. This typically includes park fees, camping fees, rescue fees, guide and porter fees, meals, and transportation to and from the mountain. However, it’s important to check what’s included in the price with your chosen tour operator.

The Rongai route is a less popular and less established route than the Marangu route, which means that it is also less expensive. This is because there are fewer huts and campsites along the route, which means that there are lower park fees and accommodation costs. Additionally, the Rongai route is often not guided, which means that you can save money by carrying your gear and hiring porters only when necessary.
